Restorante Lugano's

It was a great experience. Food was very good and quick service and prices are below similar type restaurants. Would recomend it to everyone I know.

One of the worst dining experiences in a long time, was the one we had last night at Lugano's in Laval. Greeted by a noisy envinronment, we were seated at a table where some of us had to squeeze painfully between a post and a hard table corner to get to the bench (none of us are overweight at all). Those seated on the chair soon felt uncomfortable, as these were in hard wood with no padding!

Opening the menus was another shock, the prices being way above similar type restaurants. It turned out as the evening progressed that the food was below the standard of these other restaurants.

In addition, the waiter/ bus boy did not bring water until we specificaly asked for it, and never came to replenish the empty glasses. We knew it was a bring your own bottle' but hadn't realized this also included water bottles!

The service was painfully slow as well, and the clearing of the plates before all had finished eating made the last person uncomfortable and he left the rest of his food - after all, who likes to eat alone?

To top it off, the waiter managed to step on my foot twice (it was under the table!) and never appologized - you do not step on a half-inch shoe without noticing!

We will never set foot in this establishment ever again, and will tell anyone who asks to stay well away!
